Rio Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu beats senior pro compatriot Saina Nehwal 21-16 22-20 in an exciting quarter-final contest to enter the semi-finals of Indian Open Super Series 2017.
The mouth-watering all-Indian battle saw Sindhu comfortably winning first game 21-16 but the second game was a different story. In the second game, Saina couldn’t hold the nerves and she squandered lead and a game point to lose 20-22. This is Sindhu’s first win over Saina at international level.
