Neeraj Chopra qualifies for World Championship; Gold to Neena, Silver to Dutee and Manpreet

Ace Indian Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra makes cut for the upcoming World Athletics Championship 2017 to be held in London with a stunning throw of 83.33m in the second leg of Asian Grand Prix Athletics in Jiaxing, China. He won Silver with that effort. He had won Silver in previous leg as well.

London WC qualification mark for Men’s Javelin Throw is 83m.

In Women’s Long Jump, Neena Varakil wins Gold with a jump of 6.37m. She had won Silver in the previous leg.

In Women’s 100m, India’s fastest woman Dutee Chand win Silver with a timing of 11.57s. She had won Bronze in the previous leg with 11.59.

Manpreet Kaur wins Silver in Women’s Shot Put with 17.46m throw. She had won Gold in the previous leg of Asian Grand Prix.
